What to Expect
Sunday morning service is a time of worship, Bible teaching, and prayer. Welcome to Matanuska Assembly of God.

We gather together every Sunday morning at 10:30am at 865 W. Auklet Ave. Palmer, AK. Adult Sunday School starts at 9:30am. We would love for you and your family to join us.

Service is typically around 1.5 hours long, beginning with a time of praise and worship. Song lyrics are projected on a screen for you to sing along or engage as you’re comfortable. Worship is then followed by a time of Biblical teaching.

Sunday Worship starts at 10:30am
Adult Sunday School starts at 9:30am in the Annex.
Children’s Ministry begins at 10:30am downstairs.Wednesday Prayer & Worship is at 6:30pm.
Journey Yth is Wednesday at 6:30pm in the Annex. -
We are located at 865 W. Auklet Ave. in Palmer, Alaska. Basically, we’re across the street from Palmer High School.

Come as you are! Alaska weather often dictates what we wear. You’ll see ”business casual” to “work clothes.”

SUNDAY MORNINGS (10:30am)
Nursery ministry is provided for children 3 and under. Our wonderful nursery teams provide a safe and fun place for little ones to experience the love of God and His people.

K4 – 5th graders meet together for Adventure Kids in the Adventure Kids Clubhouse! We explore God’s Word and learn how it applies to our daily lives. Games, crafts, singing, and an encounter with the God who loves us is waiting for your amazing little world-changers!!!
BGMC Sundays are the first Sunday of the month unless notified. Kids join the adults in service upstairs.

While we do take up an offering during the service, there is no pressure to give.

While we always encourage you to bring your own Bible, it’s not required. Scriptures used during the service will be projected on the screen.

We are an Assemblies of God church, and while we have our own unique personality and way of pursuing the mission to make disciples, the Assembly of God 16 fundamentals capture the core of what we believe. You can read them all here.

Journey Yth is a weekly event specially designed for Jr. High and High School students. It is our desire to challenge you as the emerging generation to become who God has created you to be. Join us for the Journey!
We meet in the Annex (the second building across the parking lot from the church) from 6:30 – 8:00 on Wednesday evenings. Come see what challenges and life-change is waiting for you…
